lately i've been getting asked more and more about what apps i use to edit my pictures on my iphone, then someone mentioned i should do a blog post and here i am!
(you can click to make this image bigger if you need to.)
first things first, you can probably tell that i have a LOT of apps related to photograhy, and this was after i cleaned some of them out for this post. i'm not going to talk about all of them, so if i miss one that you want to know more about before you buy it or anything like that, just shoot me an e-mail!

+ INSTAGRAM - FREE
the holy grail of all photography apps! if you have an iphone and don't have instagram, you're totally missing out. i love being able to follow my friends and family. it's such a great way to keep in touch and the relationships that i've made on instagram are amazing! fun, retro filters mixed with social media, what more could you ask for? (psst... if you don't already follow me, my username is mrsstephaniet! get on it!)
here's some pictures taken solely with instagram filters:

+ SNAPSEED - $4.99
my absolute favorite editing app that i have on my phone. i get questioned a lot if my photos were taken with my phone or my actual camera, and it's all because of this app. it's a lot like photoshop for your phone with lighting and clarity effects. it also has a few filters that you can apply, and my favorite happens to be the drama effect. it almost brings life to your flat phone pictures in a new way! (i use bright 1.) almost every single picture has been through snapseed in one way or another. although it is a little pricey at $4.99, i personally think it's worth it.

+ PS EXPRESS - FREE
ps express is supposed to be adobe's photoshop express app. although it is free, it has a lot of things that you can buy in the app to help make your pictures better. i personally use the reduce noise tool a lot! when my pictures are a little too grainy or they were taken in bad lighting, this app always helps me out. plus, every tool they have is completely customizable and you can choose how much or how little of a tool you want put on your picture.
here's some pictures i've used the reduce noise tool on:

+ DIPTIC - $0.99
diptic is my favorite collage app! i know there's a ton of them out there, but diptic has been the most customizable for me. plus you can also create just 1 picture with rounded edges, making it form into a circle on your IG feed. i've had a lot of people ask me how i'm able to do that. now you know!

+ LENSLIGHT - $0.99
this is one of my favorite apps, that i've had some people question me about. for some reason people are very apprehensive when using this app and i'm not sure why. it has a ton of lighting effects for you to completely customize on your pictures! you can choose which kind, how big it is, and even it's strength. my favorite happens to be the bokeh effect that some of them can have. you can also do sunflares, cloud rays, and light leaks. you can even double them up if you want! pretty cool and completely worth the $0.99 you pay for it!

+ PHOSTER - $1.99
this app allows you to create poster looking images with your own text. you can use whatever background you like, and it has a ton of different font choices along with colors to choose from! i use it to post important information, or sometimes quotes that i just want to share onto instagram.
pictures i've made with phoster:

+ PERCOLATOR - $1.99 & JUXTOPOSER - $2.99
the coolest app combo that you will ever find! the pictures that i've made with these two are AWESOME. i know percolated pictures aren't everyone's cup of tea, but i personally think they're pretty neat-o. i could seriously play with these two all day creating pictures!

+ CAMERA+ - $1.99 & BEFUNKYFX - FREE
okay, here's two of my favorite apps that i have to show you combined images of because they're how i've been editing everything lately. camera+ is a quick fix for everything! my favorite is the "flash" and "night" filters to really brighten up your images and make them pop! this is what i've been doing lately, along with an awesome free app that i found called befunkyfx. it has some great filters along with frames! with the night effect from camera+ and the vintage 1 effect from befunkyfx (after running through snapseed of course), i've been creating images that look like this:

alright! hopefully that helped some of you, and again if you have any questions about apps that you see on my phone that i didn't talk about in this post feel free to e-mail me and i'll try to answer any questions you have. thanks, friends!
